Aan tafel!

De stoel is vormgegeven door studio Hoffmann Kahleyss. Het ontwerpersduo uit Hamburg haalt in de Rolf Benz 655 de jaren 50 aan met zijn fijne, ronde lijnen en laat die samengaan met het comfort van een moderne clubfauteuil. Tegelijkertijd presenteren Hoffmann Kahleyss een eetkamerstoel waarin de hoogste stofferingskunst is toegepast: de cacharelplooi, die in de rug van de stoel is verwerkt, vereist in de mode al de nodige precisie.

De cacharelplooi is echter niet alleen bewijs van het hoogwaardige ambacht, maar ook een uitnodiging tot creativiteit van de toekomstige stoeleigenaren. In de mix & match komt de buitenbekleding van Rolf Benz 655 op verzoek weer terug in het binnenste van de plooi, terwijl voor de binnenbekleding een ander kleur kan worden gekozen. Ook de pootuitvoering van de stoel is individueel.
